Lovely forest green velvet dress with white lace collar. A perfect holiday dress! It has puffed sleeves with stiff interfacing that helps them keep their shape. The sleeves are ruched at the ends and taper to the elbow. The drop Basque waist leads to a gathered skirt. The velvet is very soft and glows in the light. Self lined. By Miss Dorby. Vintage size 16. Fabric content is 85% acetate, 15% nylon. Very good condition. There is a small place on the side of the skirt where the nap lays differently and I have shown it in photos. Because of the gathers it would not be very noticeable.
In the photos and video it looks like there is a spot under the collar but that is just the nap. There is no spot.
