This stunning vase is approximately 13” high and very heavy. I purchased this from a professional collector and just don’t have a place for it in my home.

This is a Japanese Satsuma-style vase, likely from the Meiji period (1868-1912). It is a type of earthenware pottery known for its fine crackled glaze and hand-painted decorations with gilt highlights. Satsuma ware originated from the Satsuma province in Southern Kyūshū, Japan. The vase features a crackled ivory-colored glaze. The hand-painted decoration includes floral motifs and gilt detailing.

Normal wear due to age.
